Melanie C And Jax Jones Headline Emirates Dubai 7s Festival Stages

Bringing Massive Beats To The Stadium

Melanie C and Jax Jones are the first major artists announced for Emirates Dubai 7s. They will play electrifying DJ sets on the festival’s Beats on 2 stage. Melanie C performs on Saturday, November 28, and Jax Jones plays on Sunday. The three-day event returns to The Sevens Stadium from November 27 to 29. Organisers bill it as the Middle East’s largest sports and entertainment festival. The event takes place just ahead of the UAE National Day holiday. Organisers promised to announce more musical artists in the coming weeks. Most people know Melanie C as one fifth of the legendary Spice Girls.

A Shift To House And Techno

Behind the decks, her sets mix house, techno, disco, and euphoric club classics. She recently completed her fifth year of performances at Pacha Ibiza. She has sold more than 100 million records worldwide during her massive career. She recently headlined the Apple Music Stage at the TCS London Marathon. Jax Jones rose to prominence in 2014 on Duke Dumont’s UK chart-topper “I Got You”. The DJ and producer has sold more than 60 million singles globally. He racked up nine billion streams with hits including “You Don’t Know Me”. He has worked with Demi Lovato, Raye, and Years & Years.

Rugby Action Meets Live Music

The pair follow Tinie Tempah and DJ EZ, who headlined the stage previously. Festival director Mathew Tait said the DJs will undoubtedly elevate the party atmosphere. On the pitch, Dubai opens World Rugby’s HSBC SVNS 2027 season again. The festival also runs amateur competitions in rugby, netball, cricket, padel, and fitness. Gaelic football joins the impressive amateur sports line-up for the very first time. The stadium will host its biggest Kids’ Zone yet to mark the Year of the Family. General Admission 3-Day Passes start from an accessible Dh595 this year. Catch the latest sports highlights and upcoming festival news. Read the best athletic coverage today at The WAU.
