Building The Future Of Combat Sports
Abu Dhabi will host its very first RAF international youth wrestling tournament next month. Real American Freestyle brings hundreds of highly talented young athletes to the UAE. They launched the event through a massive partnership with the UAE Wrestling Federation. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi also supports the spectacular event. RAF NEXT GEN Abu Dhabi makes its highly anticipated international debut on November 14. Organizers scheduled the vital preliminary qualifiers to take place at NYU Abu Dhabi. The spectacular championship finals will occur at Etihad Arena on November 15. Finalists earn the incredible opportunity to compete on the same mats as massive global stars.
A Global Stage For Young Athletes
The youth event runs directly alongside the massive professional RAF Abu Dhabi tournament. Khamzat Chimaev and Colby Covington headline that spectacular professional event at Etihad Arena. The youth competition features four distinct age groups: under-11, under-13, under-15, and under-17. Organizers included dedicated girls’ divisions in the under-13 and under-15 competitive categories. Registration remains open across all weight classes, but available places are strictly limited. RAF NEXT GEN gives young wrestlers a phenomenal opportunity to compete globally. They can earn vital ranking points and potentially qualify for massive future RAF championship events. RAF chief executive Chad Bronstein outlined the massive vision behind the youth tournament.
Expanding The Sport Internationally
He stated the organization always intended to build the entire sport, not just a professional league. Taking NEXT GEN international represents a massive, strategic step in realizing that long-term vision. The event helps create much stronger, clearer athletic pathways for young competitors in the country. The tournament extends a massive five-year partnership between RAF and the UAE Wrestling Federation. Track the biggest tournaments and rising stars in international combat sports.
