Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi has come up with a 5D Cinesplash attraction that uses special effects to bring to life a story inspired by the UAE’s pearl-diving past.

The 3D film The Legend Of The Lost Pearl captivates audiences as they follow the lead character Dana’s fun-filled and courageous quest through the sands of Abu Dhabi to recover her humble village’s rightful beacon of prosperity, the Mother Pearl.

True to the waterpark experience, the stimulating effects include spraying water, water explosions, rain, waterfalls, neck blasts, water guns and fountains. RGB lighted bubbles in theatre walls and ceiling are accompanied by ground fog, leg ticklers and wind and motion effect. To ensure that the guests are fully submerged in the adventure, water is flooded into the theatre as seat vibrations take the experience to new heights.

“This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new additions to our line-up of experiences and we are very proud to be the first waterpark to introduce it in the region,” said Bianca Sammut, General Manager of Yas Waterworld.
