Two Arab siblings - brother and sister - have died in a horrific accident in Fujairah on Saturday evening. The sister was a physician while her brother was an engineer by profession.
The police received an alert about the accident and immediately dispatched an emergency team to the site.
Initial investigations proved that the accident was caused by losing control over the steering wheel, leading the car to somersault sever times. Both the victims were in a serious condition and the brother succumbed to injuries on the way to Fujairah Hospital.
The sister was pronounced dead at the Al Dhaid Hospital. The bodies of the deceased were identified and handed over to the relatives for burial. Funeral prayers were held at the Masafi Mosque after Asr prayers on Sunday.
