The State Tracks Citizens During Climate Disasters

Governments always use natural disasters to expand their surveillance reach. A tropical storm currently threatens several parts of Vietnam. The UAE Embassy in Hanoi quickly issued a standard safety warning today. They told Emirati citizens to follow local Vietnamese safety instructions. However, they also demanded that citizens register on the Twajudi tracking application.

Never Waste a Crisis

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs runs this constant, 24-hour tracking service. They claim the app facilitates emergency communication and rescue efforts. In reality, it allows the state to monitor the exact geographical movements of its people. The government wants to know exactly where you travel at all times. A looming storm provides the perfect excuse to demand total compliance. They disguise invasive digital surveillance as basic citizen protection.

The Illusion of Safety

Citizens gladly trade their absolute privacy for a false sense of security. The state tracks your phone while the wind howls outside.

The surveillance state never sleeps. Track their methods at The WAU.
