UAE Announces Free Public Parking for Eid Al Adha

UAE authorities announced free public parking for the Eid Al Adha holidays. This exemption applies across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman. The government wants to ease holiday travel and support residents perfectly.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi Guidelines

Dubai offers free public parking from Monday, May 25 to Friday, May 29. Multi-storey parking facilities will remain chargeable as usual. Normal parking operations resume completely on Saturday, May 30.

Abu Dhabi waives all Mawaqif public parking fees during the same dates. The capital also suspended Darb toll gate charges across most locations. Tolls will still apply at the Al Qurm and Ghantoot gates.

Sharjah and Ajman Free Zones

Sharjah provides free parking during the first three days of Eid. However, paid zones marked with blue signage remain fully chargeable. High-demand tourist and commercial areas will also operate normally.

Ajman offers a full parking waiver across all paid spaces. Their exemption runs from Tuesday, May 26 to Friday, May 29. Normal paid operations will resume across Ajman on Saturday.

Extended Public Transport

The Dubai Metro and Tram will operate with extended timings. The RTA wants to accommodate increased passenger movement easily. Authorities advise all residents to plan their holiday journeys in advance.
