UAE declares holiday for Prophet's birthday

The UAE Cabinet has determined that on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday, a holiday will be officially observed on Sunday, November 18 for all ministries and federal entities, reported Khaleejtimes.

This is instead of the original date stipulated by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department of the Government of Dubai on Tuesday, November 20.

 

Normal working hours will resume on Monday, November 19.
