UAE leaders send greetings on new Hijri year

UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed has sent congratulatory messages to the leaders of Muslim countries, on the occasion of the New Hijri Year.

Shaikh Khalifa wished the presidents, kings and princes of Muslim and Arab nations good health and called for more progress and prosperity for their countries, state news agency Wam reported.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar cables to heads of states to mark the occasion.
