A passenger from the Emirates Airlines decided to surprise his girlfriend by asking her to marry him while they were en route from Shanghai to Dubai.
The airlines congratulated the couple and posted the video of the proposal on their social media which happened during Chinese Valentine’s Day, August 17.
In the video, the man is seen announcing over the loudspeaker, “I am grateful for all your love, support and encouragement in the past year, I would like to make this last forever. I’d like to build a happy family with you for the rest of my life. I hope my life is full of you.”

He then proceeds to kneel on one knee and present a bouquet of red roses and a ring to her girlfriend.
The man says that he is not sure if that is the proposal his girlfriend had in mind but he is making his most important commitment to her.
The woman happily accepted his proposal while the passengers of flight EK303 cheered as they witnessed the rare treat.
