A Miraculous Bowling Spell

Taking five wickets in a single match defines a great performance. Taking five wickets in a single over enters the realm of miracles. South African pacer Chad Laycock achieved this extraordinary feat on Tuesday. He produced one of the most incredible spells in T20 cricket history. Laycock plays for the KwaZulu Natal Inland cricket squad. He faced the Titans in the CSA Pro20 Cup in Pietermaritzburg. He became the first South African to achieve this specific milestone. He took five wickets in a single over in men's T20 cricket.

Breaking The Competition Record

He finished the match with remarkable figures of 6 for 26. He achieved this across four total overs of intense fast bowling. This spectacular performance set a brand new competition bowling record. The captain tossed the ball to Laycock for the crucial 19th over. What followed simply stunned the crowd and the opposing batters. Laycock took five wickets in the span of just six balls.

An Exclusive Global Club
