Teen caught speeding at 170kmph to go to bathroom

The local police department said that the teenager's excuse did not get him the officers' sympathy.

A teenager in Canada was caught for speeding at 170kmph as he urgently needed the bathroom after eating too many hot wings. The 16-year-old Chevrolet Camaro driver blamed the hot wings for over-speeding when he was pulled over by Manitoba police.

Tweeting about the incident, the local police department said that the teenager's excuse did not get him the officers' sympathy. He was fined £690 (Dh3,200 approximately) for speeding and being behind the wheel without a supervising driver.

There are "absolutely no excuses for that kind of speed", the police department tweeted. In further tweets, Manitoba police said an adult was able to collect the car in order to avoid it being towed, and the teenager's license would "most likely" be suspended, reported Sky News.
