Well known for its great cuisine and specific taste are chinese restaurants spread all around world. There are some rumors about China having lack of standards in products and people slowly started avoiding import of Chinese goods.

Also known of its fake, cheap products sold via Amazon, eBay, AliExpress and many more online websites. Products are very cheap and  with lack quality and  often contain toxic substances.

1.Imitation Eggs

Chinese  have instructional videos  how to make $70 / day by producing and selling fake eggs, that require – Alginic Acid, Potassium Alum, Gelatin, Calcium Chloride, water and artificial color, and eggshells are made from calcium carbonate. These eggs cause memory-loss and dementia.

2.Walnuts stuffed with cement

Walnuts with  concrete wrapped in paper . that wrap prevent it from making a suspicious noise if  nut was shaken. These fake nuts that are much heavier than the real thing.

3.Making beef out of pork

Pork is cheaper in China and therefore some restaurants sell it instead of beef . They perform some chemistry on it- they use beef extract and a glazing agent to “marinate” the meat about 90 minutes. Doctors advised its long-term use may cause “slow poisoning, deformity  and  cancer.”

4.Fake green peas

Local newspaper, noted that  peas were still hard after boiling and  turned the water unnatural green color. Illegal workshops was producing three years before it was investigated and found that  fake peas were created with snow peas and soy beans, green dye and sodium metabisulfite  as bleach and preservative. it may cause cancer,  obstruct ability to absorb calcium.

5.Baby formula

47 people  accused of producing fake instant baby formula caused  children death in  Fuyang, China, reported CBS News. The formula was likely made of chalk which led children develop a “big head disease,”. It swell their heads and the rest of their bodies slowly deteriorate.

6.Industrial salt sold as table salt

labeled  as “unfit for human consumption industrial salt is much cheaper.  788 tons of it was sold by at least 12 people in 13 years as table salt.  Industrial salt can cause mental and physical issues- hypothyroid problems and reproductive system disorders.

7.Mud sold as black pepper

Local mud  sold  as black pepper and their white pepper was mainly made out of flour. All that made under  excuse that they “would not kill people.”

8.Fake Sweet Potato Noodles

A facility in Zhongshan city, China made at least 5.5 tons of fake noodles. Complaining of strange taste of  sweet potato led to further investigation and revelation -noodles were composed of corn with an industrial ink for a purple color, and paraffin wax.

9.Fake Ginseng

Ginseng root is a popular medicinal plant and here is how many made a profit of it- boil the roots in sugar, which makes them much heavier and therefore more profitable.

Also boiling ginseng in sugar might strip it from most of its medicinal values. The test showed that while natural ginseng has 20% content of sugar,  this one is up to 70% sugar.

10.Plastic Rice

It is produced from potatoes combined with a synthetic resin. The rice stayed hard after boiling, its long-term consumption could cause cancer.
