Two attackers had detonated bombs and also threw live grenades at a Mosque in the city of Herat, Afghanistan. According to the police, 15 people had died and many were injured in this gruesome attack at the Shi'ite mosque.
Hospital officials reported 20 deaths, while a local reporter said that there were at least 30 people who died in the attack.
A local police spokesperson, Abdulhai Walizada, claimed that one attacker who detonated the explosives was a suicide bomber, and the other was hurling grenades at the crowd. The group responsible for this attack is yet to be revealed.
According to Amnesty International, carrying out Shia genocide in Iraq and Syria has been going on since 2014, which has led to many deaths in the past.
