Drishyam: The Conclusion is dominating the global box office right now. Figures from trade tracker Sacnilk show the film earned Rs 61 crore net on Day 3. The film played across 17,323 shows on Sunday, marking a 14 percent rise. That took its three-day India net total to an impressive Rs 176.50 crore. The domestic gross for the film sits at Rs 211.80 crore currently. Viewers abroad added another Rs 20 crore to the total on Sunday.
Packed Evening Screenings
This brings the film's international gross to Rs 61 crore so far. The worldwide gross stands at Rs 272.80 crore after just three days. Sunday's overall Hindi occupancy came in at a strong 64.29 percent. Evening shows performed best, reaching an impressive 80.46 percent occupancy rate. Afternoon screenings followed at 72.08 percent, while night shows hit 62.23 percent. This Rs 176.50 crore haul gives Drishyam 3 the year's second-highest opening weekend. Only Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge sits ahead of it currently. Around 69.14 lakh people bought tickets over the busy opening weekend.
Closing The Franchise Powerfully
The film drew 24.58 lakh viewers on Day 1 and 20.44 lakh on Day 2. Abhishek Pathak directed the highly anticipated conclusion to the popular franchise. The film brings back Tabu and Shriya Saran alongside Devgn's iconic character. Devgn previously stated this film will be the absolute end of the series.
