Living in dire poverty and unhealthy conditions, a 60-year-old woman and her 2 daughters were asked to vacate their BDA apartment in Austin Town by the police. Her daughters, who are 37 and 39-years-old were living without electricity and water supply for years. Police have said that they have since been admitted at Nimhans and are undergoing treatment and counseling.

Cops from the surrounding area of Viveknagar reached their house when neighbors reported to a local TV channel that they were being harassed by the three women. When police arrived at their home the mother reportedly bit one of the policemen.

Police said that the entire house had a foul smell. The mother and her elder daughter used to go looking for food at churches, temples, mosques, and restaurants while they locked up her younger daughter in a room as she suffers from a mental illness.

Reportedly the older woman’s husband had left the family years back. They have been living by themselves since then.

They owned a flat on the third floor for 30 years. There has been no water or electricity connection for a few years now. The LPG connection was also disconnected. Shockingly, the front door of the house wasn’t there either.

According to a police complaint made by the neighbors, the lady used to keep her house very dirty and also used to throw urine and muck in the neighbor's houses. Many families vacated because of her.

According to a resident of the apartment, they were unable to sleep at nights because they used to fight with the neighbors and created a ruckus. They didn’t even allow children to play in the apartment premises and would often scare them off.
