Nepali migrant worker dies in Saudi Arabia road accident

 Nepali man died in a road accident in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Bir Bahadur Rana of Shuklaphanta Municipality-12 in Kanchanpur district. Rana was a freed Kamaiya (bonded labour).

 

Rana who had been working as a driver for over a year in Saudi Arabia, was reported killed in the road accident at Mahil of the Arab country Saturday, according to Shuklaphanta Municipality-12 ward chair Wale Rana.

Rana’s fellow worker from Saudi Arabia informed the Rana family about the tragedy.

The bereaved family is deeply shocked at the news of the death of sole bread earner in the family. He is survived by his parents, spouse and four children.

The ward chair said they are making efforts to bring the body of the deceased back to home.
