Wanted Sri Lankan drug kingpin, aides held in Dubai raid

Madush, who is among Sri Lanka's most wanted criminals, had been evading arrest for the past couple of years.

A wanted Sri Lankan underworld drug kingpin, Makandure Madush, was among a few unmistakable figures arrested red-handed in a raid at a hotel in Dubai, the police have affirmed to KT. 

Among the 20 suspects captured was a guest conveying a conciliatory international ID and popular singer Amal Perera, as indicated by sources. 

A vast amount of drugs was recouped from the suspects in the joint activity by the Dubai Police and Sri Lankan law authorization specialists. 

 

Madush, who is among Sri Lanka's most needed culprits, had been dodging capture for the recent years. 

The experts are presently in chats with Dubai to remove him to Sri Lanka. As indicated by Sri Lankan media reports, Amal Perera's child Nadimal and black market crooks Keselwatte Dinuka and Kachcipani Imran were among those captured.
