The woman was shopping with her grandchildren. It was a narrow escape for an elderly woman when she tumbled down an escalator along with her two grandchildren.

While the three-escaped unhurt, the woman, Tao Shu'an, who rescued them, suffered serious injury and was operated upon.The woman had also fallen off the staircase and injured her leg.
According to the Daily Mail, "She was walking in the middle of the two - her grandson in front of her and her granddaughter behind her.
It appears that the woman lost balance first and brought down the two children with her."Tao Shu'an said she couldn't move her right leg and had to be taken to the hospital for surgery.
"Although I had to experience pain, as long as the family is safe and sound, I think it was worth it," she added.
