Bahraini man has been handed down a suspended one year’s imprisonment who attacked an Asian man for overtaking his car.
The Asian man, who was with four of his friends in his car, reported to police that the 22-year old Bahraini man was driving his car slowly in Salmabad, without allowing him to overtake. Finally, when he managed to overtake, the defendant drove his car fast and intercepted the victim’s car before coming out and attacking him, according to prosecutors.
“He was driving on the middle of the road without allowing me to overtake it. Somehow I managed to overtake his car and while overtaking I gave him a stare to make him understand the mistake he was doing,” the victim told prosecutors.
