Capital governor condemns terror blast

Capital Governor, Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, has condemned the heinous terror blast that took place in Sanabis yesterday and resulted in wounding a Bahraini woman.
He stressed the importance of concerted efforts by all social segments to counter terrorism which is aimed at undermining the nation’s security and stability and intimidating secure citizens, denouncing all forms of violence.

While visiting the injured woman at the Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), alongside the Assistant Undersecretary for Hospitals’ Affairs, Dr. Waleed Al-Mana’a, the governor pointed out that terrorism will never undermine the resolve of the honourable citizens to continue the development and progress march, wishing the wounded speedy recovery, and praising the efforts of SMC and the medical team in charge of treating her.

 

Shaikh Hesham lauded the tremendous security efforts exerted by the Interior Ministry to combat terrorism and thwart heinous terror plots before they happen, which, he said, reflects the vigilance and high security expertise of the affiliates of the Ministry, led by Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, praying to Allah the Almighty to preserve Bahrain and maintain its status as an oasis security and stability.

Dr. Waleed Al-Mana’a said that the wounded citizen had enjoyed maximum attention and health, including a surgery, adding that her condition is reassuring and stable and she is recovering.
