More than 80 countries celebrate International Workers' Day on May 1. Trade unions organize massive marches and joyful cultural events today.
The United States and Canada celebrate Labor Day in early September. Leaders chose September to distance the holiday from radical socialist associations. Despite the different dates, the core purpose remains exactly the same. We all recognize the vital economic achievements of hardworking people.
