As part of the industrial action, the members of the largest UK trade union, Unite, who work at the bank will protest against the below-inflation pay imposed on them without negotiations with the union.
The strike was initially scheduled for Monday, but was delayed to allow for talks via the conciliation service Acas.
A protest will be held outside the Bank's headquarters in the City of London.
