EU: Roaming charges for mobile phones almost gone since law enacted

The European Union says roaming charges for mobile phones have been reduced by 90 percent since a law restricting prices for customers in the bloc was proposed in 2007.

 

But consumer advocates are concerned phone companies will try to claw the charges back some other way.
