Then, when the video was released, Taylor portrayed a character who took selfies and "edited receipts" – references which were widely assumed to be about Kim.
This verse in particular includes lyrics about giving a friend a "second chance" and being "stabbed in the back." Many people took the lyrics as a reference to the phonecall about "Famous" in which Kanye told her some of the song's lyrics, but not the use of the words "that bitch." In other words, he "stabbed her in the back" by using that lyric after "shaking her hand" about the others. And, of course, the mention of a phonecall is exactly how the drama between her and Kanye went down.
Kim then appeared to respond to the song by sharing this photo from the exhibit Kanye held back in 2016 to celebrate the "Famous" video, which featured a naked waxwork of Taylor Swift lying in bed next to him.
Taylor Swift fans immediately began spamming Kim's Instagram with the rat emoji, criticising her for appearing to reference the feud again. So far Taylor hasn't responded, but I doubt this is the last we'll hear of this drama.
