A woman admits she almost lost her daughter after the girl put part of the leaf of a plant in her mouth. The little girl’s tongue swelled and she started to lose her breath. The plant was kept inside their house, but the family had no idea it was poisonous.

The dangerous plant’s name is Dieffenbachia or Dumb Cane. It is an attractive plant with a straight stem, simple leaves with white spots and specks. It can be found in many homes and offices. However, this plant as stated in the aforementioned is incredibly dangerous.
Contact with dieffenbachia can cause a host of unpleasant symptoms, including numbness, and if swallowed oral irritation, excessive drooling, and localized swelling. We absolutely have to be careful with this plant, particularly with our animal friends and children.
Death in adults may occur in about 15 minutes and in less than a minute in children.
Be careful, if you touch the plant do not touch your eyes, because there is a great probability that you will go blind!
