Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) issues new regulations on road transport and car rental activities across Dubai, regulations aims the transportation of passengers, goods, valuables, packages, foodstuff and furniture by specialized companies.
Regulations applicable on rental of buses, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and recreational vehicles.
"New regulation by RTA is to streamline rental activities across emirates," said Sultan Al Marzooqi, Director of Commercial Transport activities at RTA's.
Rental companies registered in Dubai counts to 12 thousand with vehicles count of 255,000 transportation as confirmed.
The licensing agency to prepare and regulate approved under technical safety and safety standards for operating vehicles across, Deviation from regulations set will lead to imposing of applicable penalties," explained Al Marzooqi.
Companies had to seek RTA's Approval under set regulation guidelines.
