A tragic traffic accident occurred on Tuesday morning in Egypt’s South Sinai governorate. A passenger bus collided with a truck on the Cairo-Ismailia desert road. Local authorities reported that the collision caused the bus to catch fire. Three people sadly lost their lives, and eleven others sustained various injuries. The accident happened near the Aqua Park area on the busy highway.
Emergency Teams Respond Quickly To The Scene
Police, civil defence teams, and ambulances rushed immediately to the accident site. Ambulance authorities in Qalyubia dispatched several vehicles to assist the affected passengers. Emergency medical personnel transferred the injured individuals to Al Salam Specialist Hospital. The hospital staff is currently providing necessary medical treatment and care. The bodies of the deceased were also transported for necessary legal procedures.
Civil defence teams worked efficiently to extinguish the fire that engulfed the bus. Authorities began clearing debris from the crash to secure the surrounding area. They worked diligently to restore normal and safe traffic flow on the road. An official investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the collision.
