2. Tuberculosis:
Tuberculosis is a contagious disease spread by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB). Primarily, TB affect the lungs but can also spread to other organs such as intestines and bones. It spreads from person to person through droplet infection such as sneezing and coughing. Currently, TB is curable but it requires extensive medical therapy.
