4. Hepatitis C:
Hepatitis C is an infectious disease caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). The virus compromises the liver of a patient. The virus is highly contagious and transmit from carrier to host on exposure to infected blood, sexual intercourse, body modifications. Hepatitis B can be cured by the taking a course of antiviral medication and in extreme cases may require transplantation of liver.
