Return permit visa for the people who have stayed out of Qatar for more than 6 months and are under personal sponsorship can be applied through METRASH2. It can be done through MOI web portal or Metrash2 mobile app.
The return visa will be issued only if you have a valid residency permit. This visa has 1 month of validity. That means, you should return to Qatar within a month after issuance of the return visa. It will save your time as well. This service carries a fee of QR500 for a person.
Another benefit is now you can modify passport details online. But it is possible only if the person has valid entry visa and passport is lost or damaged. But in case, if the passport is lost or damaged before entering Qatar, the employer can update the pssport details online by adding the new passport number.
If you are having two visas, one is existing and another one is new, you can close one visa through METRASH2. But you should pay the service fee for the same.
