Still remember the famous Tsunami Walk? Shamcey was best known for making the audience wow during the 2011 Miss Universe held in Brazil, allowing her to win the 3rd Runner-up crown.
On January 24, 2016, Shamcey won another crown when she gave birth to her first little daughter. She and her husband Lloyd Lee named their firstborn Nyla Kelcey or Nyke.

There are no Major, Major problems that this beauty queen never conquered. From her almost complete dethronement of the Binibining Pilipinas crown up to her heartaches, the Miss Universe 4th Runner-up Venus Raj shows the bold heart of the Filipinas amidst trials.
After the pageant, Venus became a host of the morning show Umagang Kay Ganda, but left on 2013. She is currently taking her Masters degree in Community Development at the University of the Philippine, Diliman.
