15 D-List Celebs That Think They’re A-List

Sandra Bullock, George Clooney, and Beyoncé are some of the celebs that will NOT be appearing on this list. The life of an A-list celeb is glamorous and exciting. They’re the center of attention everywhere they go. They attend the Oscars and Emmys wearing the most famous designer clothes. They grace the covers of all the top magazines, have fans all over the world that want to sleep with them, and get paid millions of dollars. D-list celebrities live a similar lifestyle but make less money and rarely appear on magazine covers. Of course, D-list celebs still make a decent living and gain a great deal of attention. That’s probably why so many of them think they’re A-list.

If Hollywood was filled with only A-list stars it would get pretty boring. D-list celebs have a very special place in Hollywood. When an A-list celeb is unavailable, a D-list celeb is there. They’re there to star in made-for-TV movies, reality TV series, and low-budget raunchy comedies. Without them, shows like Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity Rehab, and I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here wouldn’t exist. Most D-list celebs haven’t starred in critically acclaimed films or ever won an Oscar. Regardless, they still achieved a certain level of fame and notoriety. They might not be on the same level but they’re successful in their own right. The only problem is nobody told them that they’re D-list. Here is a look at 15 D-List Celebs That Think They’re A-List.

Holly Madison is best known for being one of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s three girlfriends. In fact, she was the last of his three girlfriends as she was the final one to break up with him. For a while, Hugh considered her his number-one girl. Madison, Wilkinson, and Marquardt first gained wide recognition after starring in the reality series The Girls Next Door, which chronicled their time as Hugh’s girlfriends and living at the Playboy Mansion. From 2009 to 2011, she starred in her very own reality series, Holly’s World. Her memoirs, Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny, debuted at number one on the New York Times Bestseller List. Her second memoir was also a New York Times Bestseller. She is one of the most successful D-list stars and hasn’t let anything stand in her way.

14. David Hasselhoff

At one time, David Hasselhoff was a B-list television star that was on the brink of becoming a major celebrity. Instead, he became a D-list star that has been largely forgotten. Hasselhoff is best known for his roles as Michael Knight on the hit series Knight Rider and Mitch Buchannon on Baywatch. He is still very active and served as a judge for America’s Got Talent, competed on Dancing with the Stars, and starred in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! He continues to appear on Broadway and in commercials but has failed to regain his previous glory. Despite losing a lot of popularity in the United States, he actually remained a big deal in Germany. His music career failed in North America but he was successful internationally. His single “Looking for Freedom,” was number one on the German Pop charts in 1989. He might not be a B-list star anymore but that hasn’t stopped him from acting like an A-list star.

13. Brooke Hogan

Brooke Hogan is the daughter of iconic and controversial professional wrestling star Hulk Hogan. Brooke hoped that her father and her connection to the wrestling world would be enough to propel her into the spotlight. She got it for a little while but it quickly faded away. She has embarked on a career as a recording artist and released the albums Undiscovered and The Redemption. However, her career didn’t take off like she had planned. She is currently working on a country-themed album. Brooke also starred in the reality series Hogan Knows Best, along with her parents and brother. Following her parent’s bitter separation, Hogan Knows Best was cancelled. Brooke then starred in her own reality series, Brooke Knows Best.
