Writer Mandy Len Catron became famous after her hit New York Times article on 36 questions that will make strangers fall in love. Interestingly, Mandy did fall in love with her current partner by asking those 36 questions, originally based on Dr. Arthur Aron research paper. In her TED talk, she talks about the crushing breakup she had after 9 years in a relationship and how she turned to science to find about the science of romantic love, hoping that it might somehow inoculate her from heartache. Falling in love is the easy part, but falling in love is not the same thing as staying in love, points out Mandy in her TED Talk.
