Proud uncle Akshay Kumar has shared the first photo of the newborn daughter of actor Asin Thottumkal and Micromax founder Rahul Sharma. The baby was born on Tuesday.
“One joy which is completely unmatched...congratulations to my dearest friends Asin and @rahulsharma on the arrival of their little angel,” he captioned the photo posted on Twitter on Wednesday morning. Akshay can be seen cradling the baby in his arms, with a big smile on his face.

Asin shared the news of her daughter’s birth on Instagram on Tuesday and wrote, “Ecstatic to announce the arrival of our Angelic Baby Girl earlier today. Thank you for all your love and wishes. She is the best birthday present I could ever ask for!”
Akshay had previously said that he was instrumental in getting Asin and Rahul together. “It was during Housefull 2 and we were in Delhi. Don’t laugh, but we were playing hide and seek, and I made the two of them hide together in one cupboard. That is how it started and it is so nice that they are getting married now,” he had said.
Asin, 30, tied the knot with the Micromax founder in a Christian wedding ceremony followed by Hindu rituals in Delhi on January 19, 2016. Both the ceremonies were attended by Akshay. He has worked with Asin in films like Housefull and Khiladi 786.
