Angelina Jolie would not drop her divorce if Brad Pitt “begged for another chance,” despite a made-up claim. Gossip Cop can debunk this nonsense about them possibly getting back together. We’re assured it’s all untrue.
HollywoodLife, a site that so often posts phony articles that it’s nicknamed HollywoodLies, now asserts that Jolie would “call the divorce off” and “welcome Brad back with open arms” if he came came “crawling back” to her. The untrustworthy outlet maintains “hope may not be lost after all for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s marriage.” An unnamed “source” is quoted by the repeatedly discredited blog as saying, “Angelina definitely has regrets about splitting from Brad,” and “if Brad came crawling back to her and begged for another chance, she would willingly drop the divorce.”
It seems, however, the outlet spends far more time creating fan-fiction than it does fact-checking. While they’ve slowed down the process, as Gossip Cop exclusively reported, Jolie and Pitt are moving forward with the divorce. This new angle about about Jolie making a reconciliation contingent on Pitt “begging for another chance” is simply fake news.
At this point, HollywoodLies has virtually zero credibility when it comes to stories about Jolie and Pitt. It’s the same site that fabricated one article after another about Jolie dating a British billionaire and even planning to adopt a baby with the mystery man. Those were a series of lies. It’s also the same outlet that maintained Pitt was dating Kate Hudson, also a complete falsehood. There were also multiple reports about Pitt and Jolie getting back together.
Additionally, the website published untrue tales about Pitt’s Father’s Day plans with his kids, Jolie hooking up with Johnny Depp and Jared Leto, and Jolie and Pitt having a secret reunion in Cambodia that never ever took place. Each and every one of those HollywoodLife stories was fake news. And not one of those fabricated articles was unverifiable by any other legitimate outlet.
Despite the overwhelming number of disproven stories published by HollywoodLies, Gossip Cop still fact-checked its claim that Jolie would drop the divorce and get back together with Pitt if he “begged for a second chance,” and an impeccable insider assures us it’s entirely untrue. Gossip Cop has also reached out to Jolie’s lawyer for a comment.
