Brooklyn Beckham moans about "fangirls" at his new college as he's pictured looking glum in New York

Brooklyn Beckham has said he's already got a group of admirers at his new college.

The 18-year-old recently moved to New York to pursue a photography course at the prestigious Parsons School of Design.

And while he said he would use his time there as an opportunity to temporarily step away from the spotlight and go under the radar, it looks like it is going to be easier said than done.

Speaking to The Cut, the teen revealed he's already got a few "fangirls" who need to "chill".

He said: "I like people from school but there are a few fangirls in the school … Sometimes, I have to be like, 'I’m going to be with you for like, four years, so chill.'"

Brooklyn added: "I mean, it’s gotten better. They understand and they respect it, but it’s just at the beginning, it’s such a shock to them, so it’s fine."

He also said he doesn't just hang around with famous people, telling the magazine: "I don’t hang out with all those famous, annoying people."

His comments come as he was pictured sitting on the pavement outside Parsons School of Design.

Dressed in a black hat and denim jacket, David and Victoria's eldest child cut a glum figure as he played with his phone.

Brooklyn previously said he plans to "disappear" for a few years after moving to the Big Apple.

"I'm actually moving to New York in two weeks. I'm kinda just gonna disappear and study for a few years and see what happens after that," he shared.
