2. Jack Osbourne
Jack Osbourne suffers from Multiple Sclerosis but he reached a positive conclusion about his diagnosis years ago, it is not a death sentence. MS is an unpredictable disease that basically disables the flow of information from the brain to the body. The disease can literally cripple a person, giving them a very limited mobility. However, it is also a disease that can be managed with steroid injections and a lifestyle change. Osbourne started the campaign You Don’t Know Jack About MS not long after his diagnosis in the hopes of educating others as he educated himself.
1. Bret Michaels
Bret Michaels suffers from patent foramen ovale or heart disease. The rocker has a hole in his heart and has likely had it since he was born. However, it was not discovered until Michaels suffered a small stroke. Since his diagnosis, he has to be aware of any habits that may cause a blood clot, such as being sedentary too long. He must also take extra precautions to stay healthy, as another stroke is a very real possibility. Although PFO can be life-threatening, people live their entire life without even know they have it.
