The couple had been dating for eight months when they married in 2001 when Amelia Warner was just 19-years-old. Marriage wasn’t something to be made a fuss of though. Speaking about their ‘wedding’ Amelia said, “We were in Tahiti.We went to the activities desk and said, ‘We want to go jet-skiing and shark-feeding and… we want to get married’. They said: ‘Cool, we’ll do the shark-feeding on Monday, jet-skiing on Tuesday and we can fit in a wedding on Wednesday’.” But, alas, the shotgun union – which reportedly wasn’t legal after all – didn’t work out.
