In the past months, we’ve seen problematic escalators in China, leading to the demise of a mother trying to save her son, and some incidents causing injuries to many. This latest video shows how dangerous escalators can be—and using the stairs would be a better choice.
In this CCTV footage recorded in China, an escalator goes bonkers and reverses its direction, causing injuries to several people. It can be seen that the escalator was overcrowded to begin with, despite the fact that the stairs beside it has less than five people, and it would’ve been better to use it.
