Envy is the blue eyed monster for not only the person feeling it, but for the one bearing the brunt of it. While you know that the other person's activities are reflections of his jealousy, it is still difficult to deal with.
While you want to share your happiness with the world by posting your travel pictures on social media, you also fear negative reactions due to envy. The grass on the other side is always greener. And, nobody will see how hard you worked for what you have achieved . You will be looked at with jealousy by certain people whenever you share your happiness. However, it is easier than done to accept that fact if it is someone very close to you. Here are five ways of dealing with it.
1.Stop seeking approval
Just because somebody is jealous of you, it doesn’t mean you do the sweet talking with him or her. Sometimes it is better to accept jealousy. It is very normal to feel hurt or angry when someone becomes bitter for no fault of yours. Do not let anybody dull your sheen. Don’t feel any less about yourself to please others. You can just be yourself. He or she will know with time the real you and respond positively.
