Jodi Sta. Maria Admits To Drug and Alcohol Abuse After Annulment: ‘Drugs Were My Way Out’

The actress also said that her drug abuse had continued up to  2014, until she finally obliged veteran actress Connie Reyes' invitation to attend church where she "found Jesus".

“I have a newfound respect for my body now, and I have to take care of it. Maayos itong ibinibigay sa akin ng Panginoon, maayos ko din itong isasauli sa kanya,” she concluded.

Ever since her change of heart, Jodi Sta. Maria has experienced a turn for her life, as people saw her to be more blooming and content with her life. 

 

Recently, she was nominated as Best Actress  at the 2016 International Emmy Awards which will be held in New York City. 

Aside from this, she has been part of many soap operas and movies such as “Pangako Sa’Yo,” “Noah,” “The Achy Breaky Hearts” and many more.
