Mom Expects To Bury Doll-Sized Baby. 13 Years Later, Doctors Can’t Believe What She Looks Like

You’re about to meet an incredible young girl from Ontario named Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley.

On February 13, 2003, Kenadie was born with a rare form of primordial dwarfism that only affects about 100 people in the world. Weighing just 2.5 pounds at her time of birth, she was so small that nurses in the hospital nicknamed her Thumbelina.

Primordial dwarfism can result in delayed mental development, respiratory illnesses and digestive problems. Doctors told Kenadie’s mother Brianne that she would live only for a few days.

Fearing their daughter would suffer from severe brain damage and quickly pass away, Kenadie’s parents rushed her to be baptized on the very same day she was born.

“We baptized her right away because we were told that we should just bring her home to die,” Brianne told Barcroft TV.

In the video below, you’ll find out what happened to Kenadie following her day of birth. One thing’s for sure — doctors did not expect it.
