8. Maharani Gayatri Devi
Born on 23rd May 1919 London, Maharani Gayatri Devi was the third consort of Jaipur, India from 1940 to 1949. She was married to Maharaja Sawai Man Singh ii. Maharani became very famous when her husband signed for Jaipur state as part of the union of India. In 1970, this Indian queen got a new name, Maharani Gayatri Devi Rajmata of jaipur. Before her princess title, Devi was a politician and actress in India. In 1962 is when she embarked in parliament politics and ran for this seat. Princess was confirmed by the Guinness Book of records after winning the parliamentary seat of Lok Sabha (largest landslide in the world).
Maharani Gayatri Devi died of lung failure at the age of nature (29th July, 2009). She is still in people’s hearts because of her beauty.
