4 terrorists killed in failed attack on Saudi police station

Saudi Arabia's State Security Presidency said in a statement carried by the state news agency.

Saudi authorities said on Sunday that they thwarted a terror attack on a police station.

A statement issued said that an attack on a police station by a group of four terrorists failed near Riyadh early on Sunday. They attempted to break into the premises, but were killed by security forces.

 

Three security personnel were injured in the attack, Saudi Arabia's State Security Presidency said in a statement carried by the state news agency.

An investigation into the identities of the assailants is currently underway, and whether or not the group were in the possession of explosives - with more details to be revealed as the inquiry continues.
