The 60-year-old woman Sarand Simona Post converted to Islam on June 10 after her husband, John Loris, converted in February, according to the Kuwaiti daily Al-Rai, as reported by Erem News.
Sarand, who works at the Camp Arifjan US Army Base, received her certificate of Islam proclamation nine days before her death.
Her funeral was heartwarming as a number of Muslims marched at Sulaibikhat Cemetery. She had no relatives in Kuwait except her husband, who thanked all who offered their condolences.
