She was off duty at the time and had visited a car workshop in Al Quoz.

A worker at an auto workshop stood preliminary at the Court of First Instance blamed for sexually harassing an off-duty Dubai policewoman. 

As indicated by public prosecution records, the occurrence occurred on June 13, a year ago, when the 35-year-old Iranian laborer drew near to the complainant who was in her vehicle. 

The complainant, 23, said she went to a workshop in Al Quoz to change the glass tinting of her vehicle. "He stood near my vehicle such that I couldn't venture off. I instructed him to step away. I additionally expelled his hand when he set it to my left side shoulder. Yet, rather than avoiding me, he drew near and kissed me on the left cheek and contacted me." 

The complainant at that point close her vehicle entryway and told the laborer that she didn't need the tinting done. "He said he needed to converse with me however I instructed him to move far from the vehicle and I left the workshop and after that called the police. The CCTV camera did not catch the respondent's demonstration," she told the investigator. 

A cop, who reacted to the occurrence report, said that the cameras introduced inside the shop demonstrated the respondent as he got his abdominal area inside the complainant's vehicle through the window. "Be that as it may, the camera did not catch what he did inside the vehicle." 

The litigant, who was arrested in a matter of seconds after the fact, denied the charge.
