The Criminal Court has sentenced a private tutor to life imprisonment for raping an underage female student, and referred the civil aspect of the case to the concerned court.
Attorney of the victim’s father Lawyer Ali Al-Ali stated the Public Prosecution Department charged the man for raping the 11-year-old girl.
He allegedly held the victim too close that she could not resist the action and he exploited his position as her tutor to control her. The lawyer demanded KD 5,001 in temporary civil compensation, affirming the crime has been proven beyond doubt.
