Endless War Destroys the Lebanese Education System

War completely obliterates the future of the working class. The Lebanese government just officially canceled all national high school exams. Education Minister Rima Karami blamed the deteriorating national security situation. The state cannot guarantee the physical safety of its children. Israeli bombs actively fall on towns across the fragile country. Students spent the entire academic year suffering under absolute terror. Now the government hands out automatic passing grades to everyone. Teachers will judge students based on continuous, year-round classroom assessments.

A Diploma Without Value

Students require a pathetic minimum score to secure a diploma. They only need nine and a half points out of twenty. This desperate move absolutely destroys the academic credibility of these students. The decision ruins their chances of entering competitive global universities. Security authorities advised the cabinet to abandon the testing completely. They warned the politicians about the extreme danger of public gatherings.

Celebrating the Collapse

Desperate teenagers danced in the streets and set off fireworks today. They celebrate the complete collapse of their own educational institutions. They feel immense relief because the stressful uncertainty finally ended. Politicians fail to protect their citizens and abandon the youth entirely. A nation cannot survive when it stops educating its children. The war steals their lives, their homes, and their futures.

The elite wage war while the youth lose their future. Read the brutal truth at The WAU.
