The prosecution added that the suspect had molested the victim once before in November last year.
A mechanical engineer stood trial in the RAK criminal court on charges of inappropriately touching a woman working in the company where his sister was the boss.
As per the indictment sheet, the Asian suspect hugged, kissed and groped the woman employee.
"The defendant intentionally violated public ethics; harassed and molested the complainant at her workplace, while asking her to have sex with him."
The prosecution added that the suspect had molested the victim once before in November last year.
"She filed a complaint against him then, but withdrew it for fear that her boss, who is the sister of the accused, might sack her."
The defendant, however, did not stop harassing her, and molested the plaintiff again in January this year.
On being alerted, the RAK Police arrested the man, who denied the charges and called them baseless.
The suspect was referred to the RAK public prosecution, and then to the criminal court where he denied all the charges again.
His defence lawyer asked the court to order the hearing of the CID cop, who arrested the defendant and release his client on bail.
The court rejected the lawyer's bail request, ordered extension of the temporary detention of the accused, and adjourned the case to March 4.
