Gulf leaders arrived in Jeddah today for an extraordinary GCC consultative summit. Saudi Arabia proudly hosts this crucial meeting to discuss regional security.

Regional Leaders Arrive Safely

The UAE Foreign Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, joined the summit. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan welcomed him warmly.

Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, also arrived in Jeddah today. Kuwait's Crown Prince and Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa safely joined the important delegation.

During a press conference, Qatar strongly warned against a frozen conflict. Qatari officials desperately want to avoid endless regional hostilities. They fear ongoing political disruptions will ruin long-term Middle East stability.

Bahrain Convicts Terror Plotters

Meanwhile, Bahrain took strict legal action against local security threats today. A Bahraini court sentenced five people to life in prison.

Authorities convicted these individuals of plotting terrorist acts alongside Iran. The Public Prosecution called this espionage a massive threat to national security.
